Hi, I’m Julia Richards!
I’m an Oshkosh native with over 30 years of professional grooming experience.
I provide calm one-on-one grooming in a low-stress environment.
I focus on gentle handling, patience, and comfort-first grooming—so your dog can have a safe, positive experience and go home looking (and feeling) their best.
To ensure each dog receives unrushed, individualized care, appointments are limited and grooming is done by appointment only.

Pricing
Pricing is based on your dog’s size, coat type, coat condition, temperament, and the amount of time needed to groom safely and comfortably.
To help with planning, here are general starting prices:
Haircuts / Full Grooms
- Small: starting at $85
- Medium: starting at $125
- Large: starting at $180
- Extra-large or specialty grooms: starting at $225+
Bath & Brush Smooth Coat
- Small: starting at $65
- Large: starting at $85
Pricing can be confirmed at drop off before we begin. If excessive matting, undercoat, or behavioral issues are discovered during grooming, the final total may be higher. If there is a significant change, I will contact you before continuing.

What to Expect
Drop off your dog at their assigned appointment time - I will go over specifics of what you’d like done and give you an estimate on pick up time. When your pet is ready, I’ll call or text and you can come and get your clean beautiful dog!
Dematting
I will make every effort to brush out your dog if it can be done safely and comfortably. I will NOT put your dog through hours of painful dematting to achieve a fluffy look for vanity. If I feel your dog is too matted to be brushed out, I will contact you before any shaving is done. The best way to avoid having your fluffy friend shaved is by keeping them on a 4-6 week grooming schedule AND brushing/combing them at home on a regular basis. I would be happy to go over proper tools and techniques with you when you pick up your pet!
Why can’t you tell me how much it will cost in advance?
Every dog is different. Even dogs of the same breed can vary wildly as far as size and coat density/length. In addition, the same dog can come in in vastly different condition from one grooming to the next. Lastly, dogs have moods just like us! If your dog is extra wiggly or grouchy, I have to go slower to ensure a safe and pleasant experience!
Can I leave my dog there all day while I’m at work?
Unfortunately, because there is no outdoor potty space, I can’t accommodate all day care. I ask that dogs be picked up promptly upon completion to keep the schedule running smoothly.
Where do I park?
There is free street parking on the Parkway side of the shop or a paid lot just steps down the block on the other side of the Roxy!
